Kiddo is a cool startup on a mission to create great memories for kids through experiences. Not only do the experiences bring smiles, but their special gift boxes are engaging for the kids as well.

We build their online store, created a digital giftcard and a backend system to automate operations.

Work smarter, not harder. Handling orders with minimal effort

Kiddo's partners are now sure that customers don't cheat and they can easily redeem voucher codes. The customer has a better experience with faster handling of their order and the new digital gift card with animations. Last but not least, Kiddo now has a custom back-end system and an automatic order flow, that saves time every time a new order comes in. Time that can be spend on developing the business. And on memorable experiences with kids and loved ones.

The challenge

Too much time spent on manual processes

When we began working with Kiddo it was a one (wo)man army with thousands of to-dos during a day. The order flow was lots of manual steps of working in Excel, copying numbers, export sheets and checking in Shopify and Shipmondo. Daily tasks that could be avoided by automatisation. At the same time Kiddo wanted to make their digital gift cards as exciting as their physical boxes.

The process

Mapping the workflow and developing a customized back-end system

Together with the client we mapped the workflow and made User Stories for all stakeholders. Based on the different User Stories, we developed a customized back-end system in the existing Shopify Store. The process was agile with close collaboration with Kiddo and weekly meetings. During the process, we were able to change the scope and succeed in making the perfect fit for Kiddo.
