SMV:Digital is a Danish government-funded program designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in accelerating their digital transformation. Funded by the EU and managed by the Danish Business Authority in collaboration with regional business hubs, the program offers financial grants of up to DKK 100,000 (and in some cases up to DKK 250,000) for private consultancy and digital investments. Eligible companies can apply for support to strengthen areas such as digital strategy, IT security, e-commerce, automation, and business system integration. SMV:Digital aims to help Danish SMEs grow, become more competitive, and adopt future-ready digital solutions.
You may be eligible for a grant from SMV:Digital if your company is a Danish small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) with between 2 and 249 employees, an annual turnover below €50 million, and a Danish CVR number. Your business must also be able to co-finance the project, typically covering 50 percent of the total cost. Grants are awarded for projects related to digital transformation, such as strategy development, IT security, automation, or e-commerce. Applications are only accepted during official funding rounds, which are announced on the SMV:Digital website. Demand is high, so it's important to apply early and have a well-defined digital project.
