Dansk Kulturliv

New alliance for cultural institutions

People in a Dansk Kulturliv presentation

Dansk Kulturliv is an alliance between several danish cultural institutions, who are all working together with a shared goal of making it more accessible for all Danes to experience and participate in cultural initiatives in Denmark.

They came to us with a need for a new website which could help them, gather information about their diverse projects and engage their member organisations. We designed and developed their new website using Webflow to secure a website with exceptional performance, appealing visuals, and simple maintenance.

The results

Simple. Playful. Elegant.

The outcome was a new website built in Webflow for Dansk Kulturliv, that was uncomplicated and effortless to navigate. Playfully using the their coloured circles as an element to symbolise different parts of the cultural landscape. All this was done with a balanced use of white space and beautiful imagery to create an elegant expression.

The challenge

From static to vivid

Dansk Kulturliv wanted to get a new website which would better represent the vivid universe that the danish cultural life is. Looking to use their brand in more creative ways, while combining something visually attractive and easy to navigate.

One of their goals with the new site was to create a knowledge universe combining around 50 inspirational cases for other institutions to be inspired by.

The process

Creative use of their visual identity

In close collaboration with Dansk Kulturliv we explored different directions to utilise their existing visual identity.

Through a workshop with a dive into their brand personality, colours, shapes and other elements, we set the creative direction for the continued work.
