What is Kvalifik shortlisted for?

Kvalifik is nominated in two of the Danish Digital Award's most competitive categories. The full 2026 shortlist was announced on 1 May 2026, with Kvalifik named in both Best Website and Best in Digital UI/UX.

Best Website — the category honors websites that prioritize user experience, demonstrate digital innovation, and effectively support the business or campaign objective. Judged on strategy (30%), solution (40%), and results (30%).

Best in Digital UI/UX (Best in Digital Design) — the category celebrates solutions where design is the foundation for both strategic direction and execution, and where design potentially elevates an entire category while delivering concrete results. Judged on strategy (30%), solution (50%), and results (20%).

Both nominations are for the same body of work: a comprehensive redesign and rebuild of Veo's global website platform — built on Webflow Enterprise in close partnership between Veo's internal team and Kvalifik.

Who is Veo, and why was the project complex?

Veo is a global sports tech company selling a combined hardware, software, and analysis solution to coaches, clubs, and schools across multiple sports and markets. For Veo, the website isn't a digital business card — it's the entry point to almost the entire customer journey. It's where coaches first encounter the product, where clubs evaluate whether the solution fits their needs, and where both self-serve purchases and longer sales-led conversations begin.

The strategic challenge wasn't simply to make a better-looking site. It was to build a global website platform that could:

  • Explain a complex product across multiple sports and use cases
  • Support both self-serve e-commerce and more consultative buying journeys
  • Feel personal and relevant to widely different audiences — football coaches, rugby clubs, schools, hockey programs
  • Operate globally across languages and markets without losing local relevance
  • Enable Veo's own team to launch new experiences in hours rather than weeks

That complexity — and the results that followed — is the foundation of both nominations.

How did Kvalifik solve the brief?

The solution wasn't a redesign alone. It was a fundamental shift in how Veo's website functions as a channel, an internal tool, and a business platform.

Kvalifik consolidated Veo's international sites, content universes, CMS structures, and product-specific landing pages into a single setup on Webflow Enterprise. The result is a foundation where Veo's team can launch, optimize, and continuously evolve experiences without heavy processes or technical bottlenecks. The four guiding design principles:

From generic to relevant. Instead of one flat experience, the site was built to adapt content and flows to sport, language, and market. Each visitor encounters the content, cases, and products most relevant to them — faster.

From complexity to clarity. A clear information hierarchy, more guided user journeys, and a visual design where content, structure, and CTAs work together to move visitors forward — without losing Veo's brand energy.

From brand to experience. The UI was built as an active extension of Veo's brand. Visual identity, content rhythm, layout variation, and a more dynamic presentation of content turn the site into more than an information surface.

From launch to learning. Personalization and experimentation were built into the foundation, so Veo can continuously test which experiences perform best with which audiences.

What results did the solution deliver?

The results from the first year post-relaunch speak for themselves — and are the primary reason both nominations landed:

Business performance

  • 170% increase in demo bookings
  • 51% increase in sign-ups
  • 40% increase in unique users

Speed and autonomy for the marketing team

  • 700% faster production of new campaign and landing pages
  • 50% reduction in bandwidth required to run the site
  • 100+ new experiences, campaign pages, or page updates launched per quarter
  • 80% of all new landing pages can now be produced without development resources

Operational efficiency

  • 44% reduction in development costs
  • 25 more team members can now work directly with content and page production

Global and local relevance

  • 8 localized markets or language layers consolidated in a single setup
  • 140+ personalized experiences launched across sport and market
  • 37% increase in engagement on sport- or market-specific pages
  • 17% higher performance in personalized experiences vs. generic versions

These are results where design, strategy, and engineering pull in the same direction — and where a website has shifted from being a bottleneck to being an active growth engine.

For Rebecca Busk, CEO and Partner at Kvalifik, the dual nomination is the part that matters most:

"What means the most here isn't the nomination itself. It's that the same project got shortlisted in two categories that usually pull in opposite directions. Best Website rewards business results. Best in Digital UI/UX rewards design. Most agencies pick a side. We don't — we never have — and the Veo project is what happens when you refuse to. 170% more demo bookings and a 17% lift in personalized experiences, on the same Webflow Enterprise build. That's the discipline we're building at Kvalifik, and seeing it recognized like this means a lot."

What do the two nominations mean for Kvalifik?

This isn't the first time Kvalifik has built Webflow sites for scaling companies. It's also not the first time we've worked with personalization, localization, and performance at the enterprise level. But a shortlist in two of the Danish Digital Award's most competitive categories is third-party validation of a discipline we've specialized in: using Webflow as the foundation for building digital experiences that don't just look good, but deliver measurable business value.

Kvalifik is a Webflow Enterprise Partner and one of the few Danish agencies that designs, builds, and operates complex Webflow solutions across global markets. The Veo project is one example of what's possible when strategy, design, and engineering are treated as a single connected discipline — not as three separate deliverables handed off between teams.

When are the winners announced?

The winners of Danish Digital Award 2026 — gold, silver, and bronze in each category — are announced at the awards show on 3 June 2026. Until then, we're grateful for the nomination, proud of what the Veo team and we have built together, and focused on the next project.
