Behind the Expert: Meet Riziki Nielsen, our Senior Digital Designer

When you step into Kvalifik’s office, chances are you will find Riziki fully immersed in his work, eyes on the screen, fingers flying across the keyboard, and a subtle smile on his face. He is our Senior Digital Designer and one of the fastest in the world at building in Webflow. With multiple international prizes and awards on his shelf, he has established himself as one of the sharpest minds in digital design and no-code development.

But what truly defines Riziki is his drive to improve things. As a recent personality test fittingly described him, he is an “Improver”. And that is not just a label, it is a mindset that runs through everything he does.

The Drive: Making things better‍

“For me, it is always about improving something,” he says. “It could be a website, an animation, or a graphic detail. I am always trying to raise the bar. But it is just as much about the processes behind it: how can we work smarter, how can we automate so the boring tasks become easy and even fun?”

This approach means he does not just think in beautiful solutions, but in workflows that ensure projects improve for both the team and the clients.

Figma and shortcuts – the tools shaping everyday work‍

When asked about his favorite tool, the answer is clear: Figma. By now, it has become the standard design tool for creatives worldwide, and for Riziki, it is the flexibility that makes the difference. “You start with a blank canvas, but you can create just about anything. That freedom is why I love working with it,” he explains.

But for Riziki, it is not just about the tool itself. It is about how you use it. His little secret? Keyboard shortcuts. “If you have ever watched me work, you will see things appear on the screen almost out of nowhere. That is because I have a weakness for learning shortcuts for anything I do more than once. It makes me faster, and it makes the work more fun.”

Learning in an industry that never stands still‍

One of the most important lessons Riziki has learned in the tech world is that nothing stays still. New tools, frameworks, and best practices are constantly emerging at a pace where no one can keep up with everything.

“You cannot possibly learn every single new feature that comes out,” he says. “But that is not the point. It is about staying curious and sensing the trends. If you can feel when the next big wave is coming, you can jump on it in time and get ahead.”

It is this curiosity and ability to spot opportunities that make Riziki a key player on the Kvalifik team. He is not just a designer, he is someone who constantly pushes the boundaries of what we can do and how we work.
