Traitomic is a business born out of Carlsberg Research Laboratory that is on a mission to solve the world’s increasing food challenges with a ground breaking process for developing new traits in plants and microbes.
They came to Kvalifik with the need of a new website that reflected their mission, values, and expertise in the best way possible.
In light of the requirement for a website builder that offers design flexibility, yet remains high-performing and easily maintainable, we built the website using Webflow.
The result is a modern and captivating website that builds trust and professionalism, simplifies a complex topic delivering a clear and convincing message using video and animations. The site was designed and developed in less than a month.
Enhancing design and communication in less than a month
Traitomic came to us with a WordPress site that needed improvements both in terms of design and communication. They needed to communicate the benefits of their advanced technology in a more clear and effective way. And they needed the new site in less than a month, due to Carlsberg's plan to reveal the new spin off company!
From Small Fixes to Complete Redesign
Their initial plan was to make small fixes to have a good product for their launch as a new independent business, but after the first design review, they decided to take a step further and go for a complete redesign.

The process began with a workshop, where we explored the scope, needs and wishes for the website. Based on the dialogue and reviewing their old site, we identified all the things that needed to be changed and presented three initial design directions.
Our design team unfolded the chosen proposal and concluded the two-week redesign sprint with a high-fidelity prototype and a captivating video for the landing page.
We proposed to develop the site in Webflow, a powerful no-code tool builder, and got the website live in only one week of development.
